This is an exciting week for eSports, with the Korean OGN Winter 2013-2014 season coming to an end — the finals are in about 29 hours at http://www.twitch.tv/ongamenet/ — as well as the start of Season 4 for both the NA and EU LCS. So what’s in store?
First, I will recap the North American meta series from last week, covering the basic strong strategies, counter-strategies, and niche strategies.
Second, I will be analyzing the pick/ban data from the OGN Winter 2013-2014 season, with special attention to the games played on the 3.14 patch, as well as the 3.15 patch (semi-finals).
Third, I will be reviewing the general trends in the EU and NA LCS game, with an in-depth coverage of my favorite game each day (starting Tuesday with the EU LCS). If you have any game requests, comment here or on Facebook.
That’s an eSports article per day, with 1 or 2 extra devoted to the OGN recap. I’ll be back to theorycrafting after this week, but I’ll still try to cover 3-5 of my favorite LCS games weekly, with a recap of EU and NA LCS play at the end of every week.
